Merged with Brownstone Health

Downtown Chiropractic had been in operation since 1992 and was owned and operated by Dr. Sharon J. Barber, who has been in private practice in Regina since 1982.  Dr. Barber is a member of the Chiropractors' Assocation of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Chiropractors' Assocation, an alumni of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, and the University of Regina.  She just completed a six year term as a Director on the Board of Director's for  Regina Palliative Care Inc., a non-profit organization providing essential support to families in the Regina area when they need it most.

Dr. Sharon J. Barber grew up in Lumsden of the beautiful Qu'Appelle valley in Saskatchewan. She was very active in volleyball, fastball, basketball, badminton, music, and canoeing.  Dr. Barber participated in National championships in volleyball, broomball, and touch football taking her across the country from Victoria to Cornerbrook, Nfld.   After taking her undergraduate studies in sciences at the University of Regina, she completed her education in Toronto at CMCC, and returned to begin her Chiropractic practice in downtown Regina in 1982.  Dr. Barber continues to work on the very same block of downtown Regina around the corner from where she started, and has now owned her own business for almost 25 years. Dr. Barber has many charities of interest which include Regina Palliative Care, Canadian Cancer Society, The Huntington's Society, MS Bike Tour, World Vision, Habitat for Humanity, Regina Humane Society, Canadian Ski Patrol, Special Olympics, Doctors without Borders, Childrens' Wish Foundation, and Amnesty International.

Her passion for her patients has only increased over the years the more that time passes, and she has a special interest in neck pain and headaches.
